viaSocket SMS Feature - What You Can & Can’t Do

Purpose :
The viaSocket SMS plug is exclusively for viaSocket users whose workflow or automation needs to send SMS to a few internal or registered members using pre-approved, compliant templates.

How it works :

• You select from a set of pre-approved SMS templates (and can request a new one if none fit your use case).

• You will need to include your business name inside the SMS body.

• Messages are sent through viaSocket’s authorised sender ID.

• Only template variables can be customised.

Ideal for :
Use the viaSocket SMS plug when your workflow requires:

• Informative messages

• Limited internal or registered recipients

• A simple built-in SMS option within your automation

Limitations :

You must use your own SMS provider with your own approved sender ID for:

• Bulk messaging

• Using your own brand name as Sender ID

• Marketing or promotional SMS

• Fully custom SMS formats

• Sending SMS to these countries where viaSocket’s default sender ID does not work:
  China, Vietnam, Mozambique, Serbia, Czech Republic, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Russia
