RCS Subscription Management – Step-by-Step Guide
This guide explains how to view, renew, or cancel your RCS subscription in MSG91.
1. Log In to Your MSG91 Account
After logging in, Go to the left-hand menu on the dashboard.
Click on RCS Channel to open the RCS management section.

2. Open the Billing Section
Inside the RCS Channel page, locate the Billing option on the left panel.
Click Billing to view all billing-related settings.

3. View Subscription Details
Under the Billing section, click Show Details.
Here you will see:
Current Plan (name and price)
Renewal Date
Payment Method
Usage Summary

4. If you are on Alpha plan on any Bot Id- Kindly click on Change plan and select the required plan for each of the RCS Id (You can go with the Grow plan for the promotional RCS Id and Build plan if the amount of utility messages are less):

You can check the per message cost of each plans by clicking on Pricing in each plans…
Like in Grow Plan: Text message : 10 paise and Media Message: 12 paise (You can go with the Grow plan for the promotional RCS Id and for Utility RCS Id go with the Build plan if the amount of utility messages are less…)
Click on Upgrade- the amount will be deducted and applied to that RCS Id.

To Add more Funds in RCS Wallet
Now if the amount gets over of the subscription like You have sent all the messages of Rs. 10,000 in the Grow Plan - You can add on more amount by following these steps:
- Open the Billing Section in RCS
- Click on the “Show Details” RCS subscription whose balance is exhausted.
- Click on “Add Funds” and enter the amount and click on “Save“


If the addition of amount every single time exhaust you - you can simply enable the Auto recharge so that a predefined amount will automatically be added in the RCS wallet from the main wallet, when the RCS wallet amount reaches to a set threshold amount…So keep your Main wallet recharged..
a. Enable Auto-Recharge
Click on the “Edit auto add rule” to enable the Auto-Recharge function.

b. Setup Auto-Recharge:
Set the Threshold Amount (the balance at which recharge will trigger).
Set the Recharge Amount (the amount that will be added automatically).

5. Manage Your Subscription
Renew Subscription: If nearing expiration, follow the on-screen steps under billing.
Cancel Subscription: To stop the service, click Cancel Subscription and confirm when prompted.

6. Confirmation
Once renewed or canceled, you’ll receive a confirmation email from MSG91 with updated subscription details.
7. Chargeable Events for RCS :-
We will charge only in the following cases:
Sent
Delivered
Read
Note on “Sent” Status:
When an RCS message shows as Sent, it means it has reached the user’s RCS app, but the user’s phone might be temporarily offline (for example, their internet is off), the message will be automatically delivered once the device reconnects. hence, it is a valid chargeable event.
