Voice Call Logs - Status Explanation

This document outlines the possible statuses you may see in your voice call logs on the MSG91 platform. These statuses help indicate the stage or outcome of each call attempt.


Completed

The call was successfully answered and completed.


🔄 Queued

The call has been successfully initiated via API and is in queue for processing.


📞 Ringing

The call is being initiated and is ringing at the recipient's end.


Busy

The incoming call reached the recipient, but they were on another call (line was busy) at that time.


No-Answer

The call rang but was not answered by the recipient.


🚫 Cancelled

The call was cancelled before being answered.

  • For incoming calls: cancelled by the caller.

  • For outbound calls: disconnected by the recipient before answering.


⚠️ Failed

The call could not be completed due to one of the following reasons:

  • Flooding: Too many calls attempted to the same number in a short time (call overflow).

  • User Unreachable: The number was not reachable at the time of the call.

  • Unsupported Country Code: The country code of the number is not supported for calling.

  • Unassigned Incoming Type: The number does not have incoming call capability assigned.

  • Network Failure: Operator-side failure in call delivery.

  • Network Congestion: Call could not be completed due to temporary network congestion.

  • Blacklisted Number: The number is present in a blacklist and cannot receive calls.

  • Plan Expired: Your numbers plan has expired, preventing call completion.


💰 Balance

The call was not initiated due to a low balance.


Silent or blank response.

In the case of making international calls using a DID from MSG91, you may receive a silent or blank response for the call status, as we can only display the information provided by the operator.
