Drafts Are Now Live in Segmento!

Building a segment often takes time, especially when you're working with multiple filters, conditions, and rules. Until now, if the page was accidentally refreshed, all the filters and conditions you had configured were lost. This meant you had to recreate the entire segment from scratch, costing both time and effort.

We're excited to introduce the Draft feature to solve this problem.

With Drafts, Segmento automatically saves the progress of your segment while you're building it. Your work is preserved exactly as you left it, so even if you refresh the page, close the browser, lose your internet connection, or return later, you won't lose the filters and conditions you've already configured.

The next time you open Segmento, your saved draft will be available, allowing you to continue editing from the exact point where you stopped. There's no need to remember which filters you applied or spend time setting everything up again.

Why this matters:

The Draft feature helps you:

  • Never lose your progress because of an accidental page refresh or browser closure.

  • Continue your work anytime without starting over.

  • Save valuable time, especially when creating segments with multiple filters and complex conditions.

  • Work at your own pace by building a segment over multiple sessions.

  • Focus on creating the right audience instead of worrying about losing your work.

Example

Imagine you've spent 20 minutes creating a customer segment with several filters and nested conditions. Before you're finished, your browser refreshes unexpectedly.

Previously: Everything would disappear, and you would have to rebuild the segment from the beginning.

Now with Drafts: Your progress is already saved. Simply reopen the section where you left off—no rework, no frustration.

The Draft feature makes creating segments in Segmento more reliable, efficient, and stress-free, giving you the confidence to build even the most complex segments without worrying about losing your progress.
